His 86 Dribbling (84 base Dribbling, 87 Agility) is comfortable for a target man but he is not a silky 1v1 dribbler. Where he hurts you is the finish: 90 Finishing and 91 Shot Power make him lethal once the ball drops, and 92 Reactions help him pounce on loose balls in the six-yard box.

Use him at ST as an Advanced Forward and feed him crosses; the CM and CAM alt positions exist but his 65 Defending and modest 80 Passing make him a poor fit there. The obvious chem style is a Hunter to fix the CONTROLLED accelerate problem and push Pace and Shooting, turning him into a much sharper poacher. If you want to lean into the aerial identity instead, a Hawk stacks Pace, Shooting and Physical, keeping his target-man strengths while boosting that first step. As a Fantasy UT Hero he carries Hero chemistry, giving a strong boost on his Premier League link and counting toward Australia nation links, so he slots cleanly into Prem-heavy sides needing an aerial outlet up top.
Final verdict & ratings
Buy Tim Cahill if you want a fun, nostalgic 47K target man who bullies defenders in the air and punishes every cross, corner and second ball. Skip him if you build around fast, agile dribblers or need a striker who also presses and defends from the front, because the CONTROLLED accelerate and 65 Defending will frustrate you. At a C-tier 72.7 score he is a budget niche pick, not a meta carry.

Cahill is a 47K aerial cheat code with a clinical finish, just do not expect him to win footraces. Fun and effective on crosses, capped by C-tier all-round numbers.
